Ashley Suttles

Ashley is originally from Winfield, KS, and got her start in animal training back in 2005 at the Sedgwick County Zoo, where she worked with exotic animals. That experience opened the door to a deeper interest in behavior, and by 2011, she shifted her focus to dog training at PetSmart. Ashley earned her Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) credential through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers in 2017. She joined the FDTC team in 2018 and has been with us ever since. She’s also an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a certified evaluator for Therapy Dogs International.
Ashley shares her home with a pack of Australian Shepherds and a Border Collie. She stays busy competing in a wide range of dog sports, including Agility, Rally, Scent Work, Dock Diving, Barn Hunt, AKC Trick Dog, and Disc Dog. Lately, she’s been diving into herding with her Border Collie.

Ashley teaches our Agility Foundations, Agility II, Rally, AKC Trick Dog, Introduction to Scent Work classes. She is also our Puppy Day School and Day Training manager.
