Brianna (Bri) McComber, CPDT-KA

Trainer

Bri has been into dogs and behavior since she was a kid. Her family always had dogs around, and she especially connected with guardian breeds. In 2018, she rescued her first Cane Corso, Moose. A couple years later, they started taking classes at FDTC, where Moose earned his Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog certifications.

Bri first met Kelly during a CGC class and immediately felt like the training style at FDTC was the right fit. Wanting to learn more, she asked if she could help out and soon she was volunteering regularly. She showed up to just about every class she could, whether as a student or a volunteer. That eventually led to an assistant trainer role. After logging plenty of hours and gaining hands-on experience, she earned her Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) certification in October 2022. She’s also an evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen and Temperament Test.

Bri is married and lives with four dogs and a Maine Coon cat. Moose passed away in 2022, but his impact still shows up in everything she does. PepperToni, her Basset Hound, helps out in Reactive Dog Class. Puma and Drago, both Cane Corsos, are certified therapy dogs. Drago also competes in conformation. Rhea is the newest Cane Corso in the mix. And then there’s Lynx, the cat in charge.
Bri is always looking to learn more about canine behavior and enjoys exploring different ways to help dogs and their people thrive together.

Bri teaches Basic Manners & Obedience as well as assists in Reactive Dog class and therapy dog testing.
